Corseted
---
Murky dungeon of
The mind, wrap tight my sins
Downstairs in a very calm,
Almost dead manner,
Like all things sting the eye of
The dying sun nearing dusk
The countdown now
Begins its banging walls,
Ceilings, swinging where
It sits creaking out repeated
Arguments to and fro,
Reaching for a light tossed
On the dark sea of my island,
But hush, a mermaid calls:
Flowers blooming in the light of
Night sagging from the creased
Crumpling of my paper moon,
Eating vicariously with silver
Teeth gnashing bark on plastic
A tree rustling leafs on
The spume shaken waterfall,
Cascade the telling bits in a breath,
And remembers as to reign in
The mother queen’s corseting dreams
